Rainmen Host Moncton Miracles in Season Opening Rematch

The Halifax Rainmen are looking to avenge a season opening loss to Moncton when they host the Miracles on Thursday November 13th, 7PM at the Scotiabank Centre.

The Rainmen are coming off an exciting home opening win against the Island Storm, where the team dominated through four quarters, securing a 101-83 victory and sending the Rainmen faithful home happy. Emmanuel Jones led all Rainmen with 33 points.

This game will have a special meaning for the Rainmen as Moncton played spoiler in our season opener on Thursday, November 6th. Despite Halifax leading through three quarters Moncton came on strong, putting together a strong run in the fourth, finally taking the lead with 1:30 left and never looking back, securing a 117-113 victory. The Rainmen were without returning player Joey Haywood and Justin Tubbs who will both be in uniform for this game.The Rainmen will look to bounce back in dominating fashion and secure their second victory of the season.
