
Rainmen Fall to Power in Overtime

(Oshawa, ON) The Halifax Rainmen fell to Oshawa Power on Friday evening at the General Motors Centre in a nail-biting overtime match-up. The final score of the game was 127-131.
Leading the Rainmen was Lawrence Wright with 29 points, followed by Justin Johnson with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Taliek Brown added 16 points in the loss, while Tyrone Levett chipped in with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Abdullahi Kuso and Eric Crookshank added 13 points each.
Morgan Lewis led the Oshawa Power with an impressive 39 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists, followed by Brandon Robinson with 34 points, and Omari Johnson with 25. The box score statistics can be found at www.dakstats.com.
The Rainmen will play their next game at the Halifax Metro Centre on Sunday, February 19 as they take on the National Basketball League of Canada's first-place London Lightning. Ticketes for the game are available at Ticket Atlantic location or the Metro Centre Box Office.
