
Rainmen Fall to Bluegrass Stallions

Halifax Rainmen News Release
Halifax Rainmen fell to the Kentucky Bluegrass Stallions on Sunday night in Georgetown by a score of 99 to 89.
Assistant Coach Jeff Paris filled in for Head Coach Les Berry, who was absent from the two-game road trip due to personal reasons. Also absent from the Rainmen organization was veteran player Eric Crookshank.
The leading scorers for the Rainmen were Kavon Jones and Taliek Brown with 20 points each, followed by Marshall Brown and Josh Dollard who each added 13. Small forward Desmond Ferguson did not play due to an injured Achilles tendon. The official box score statistics can be found attached to this press release.
Next weekend, the Rainmen will return to the Metro Centre to take on Maritime rivals the Saint John Mill Rats on Saturday, January 29 at 7 pm, and the Rochester Razorsharks on Sunday, January 30 at 3 pm.
