
Rainmen Defeat Mill Rats

(HALIFAX, NS) The Halifax Rainmen defeated the Saint John Mill Rats on Friday night in front of a crowd of 3,562 fans at the Halifax Metro Centre. The final score of the game was 122 to 104.
The leading scorer for the Rainmen was Joey Haywood with 26 points, followed by Taliek Brown with 18. Tyrone Levett added 17 points in his Halifax debut, and veteran Eric Crookshank scored 16 points in the win.
Leading the Rainmen in rebounds were Abduhalli Kuso with 8, Justin Johnson with 7 and Eric Crookshank with 6.
The Mill Rats' leading scorer and rebounder was Steve DeLuca with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Anthony Anderson added 19 points, while Will Blalock added 18 and Antoine Tisby added 17. The box score statistics can be found at www.dakstats.com
The Rainmen will play their next game on the road against the Oshawa Power on Sunday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. EST, followed by a second road game on December 2 in Saint John. The team will return to the Metro Centre on Sunday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m. when they will take on the Moncton Miracles.
