RailCats Playoff Tickets on Sale Now

The Gary SouthShore RailCats Professional Baseball Club today announced tickets for the first ever Northern League playoff game at U. S. Steel Yard, Friday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m., are on sale.

Tickets can be purchased at the RailCats Ticket Window at U. S. Steel Yard Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by calling the RailCats at (219) 882-BALL (2255). Tickets are priced at a league-mandated rate of $10 for box seats, $9 for reserved seats and $6 for outfield reserved seating.

The game Friday night will be the third game of a first-round best-of-five playoff series against an opponent to be determined. Tickets for game four on Saturday or game five on Sunday will go on sale if and when those games become necessary. Daily updates of the RailCats playoff seeding and schedule are available at www.railcatsbaseball.com.

The RailCats can clinch the third seed in the 2005 Northern League Playoffs with a win tonight over Joliet at U. S. Steel Yard in a game scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Pre-game coverage on 95.9 WEFM and online at www.railcatsbaseball.com will begin at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are still available for tonight?s game and tomorrow?s Fan Appreciation Day game at the RailCats Ticket Window at U. S. Steel Yard or by calling (219) 882-BALL.
