Prince Albert Raiders News Release


Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders will play in a trio of East Division games this week, visiting the Moose Jaw Warriors tomorrow before returning home to host the Swift Current Broncos on Wednesday. The Warriors will travel to Prince Albert for a grudge match against the Raiders on Saturday.

Here is the Raiders itinerary this week:

Monday, February 11th

Practice - 1:00 PM

The Frank Dunn Toyota Future Raiders program returns as Raider players Mark McNeill, Dylan Busenius and Anthony Bardaro will attend the Novice II Sharks practice at West Hill rink at 5:00 PM. Davis Vandane, Dakota Conroy and Jonas Knutsen will also be making a visit to the East End arena for the Novice II Blackhawks practice at 6:00, with Harrison Ruopp, Evan Morden and Andy Desautels following them at 7:00 PM with the Novice Foxes. The Raiders will skate with the novice players and teach them skills, as well as hand out tickets and mini-sticks courtesy of Frank Dunn Toyota.

Tuesday, February 12th

Raiders @ Warriors - 7:00 PM - 900 CKBI

Wednesday, February 13th

Raiders vs. Broncos - 7:00 PM

Its Elk Ridge night at the Art Hauser Centre, as fans in attendance will receive winter coupons for the resort and 2 lucky fans will win golf packages from the resort!

It's the final Boston Pizza Frisbee toss of the season, with all proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The Vegas Weeknight draw is back, with one lucky fan over the age of 21 winning a trip for 2 to Las Vegas, Nevada!

The pre-game meal, hosted by Lone Wolf Catering, will consist of BBQ chicken and will begin at 6:00 PM in the Ches Leach Lounge.

Thursday, February 14th

Practice - 1:00 PM

The CIBC Read to Succeed program returns with a visit to Red Wing School at 9:30 AM, where Raider players Anthony Bardaro, Evan Morden, Mark McNeill and Harrison Ruopp will read to students, talk about the importance of literacy and sign autographs.

Raiders Luke Siemens, Andy Desautels, Davis Vandane and Mike Winther will be at Arthur Peachy School at 9:30 AM to speak to students about the prevention of bullying and living a positive lifestyle.

Friday, February 15th

Raider Day Friday returns! The Prince Albert Chamber of Commerce is urging all businesses in Prince Albert to encourage their staff to wear Raider items on Fridays before Raider weekend home games.

Saturday, February 16th

Raiders vs. Warriors - 7:00 PM

Its Canadian Tire Pirate night! Fans are encouraged to dress their pirate best for the game and there will be pirate themed music, drink specials and special Twitter Treasure Hunt! The Raiders will also be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off on the ice following the game, with all proceeds going to the Raider Education fund.

The pre-game meal, hosted by Lone Wolf Catering, will consist of grilled ham and scalloped potatoes and will begin at 6:00 PM in the Ches Leach Lounge.
