Garrett Zemlak made 44 saves - including 21 in the second period alone - as the Raiders escaped with a 3-2 win over the Blazers on Thanksgiving Day at ISC.
Tyler Shattock gave the Blazers a 1-0 lead in the first period with Justin Bernhardt and Jimmy Bubnick trading second period goals for a 2-1 Kamloops lead after 40 minutes. In the third, Ryan Harrison tied the game at 9:29 then Bernhardt scored the winner at 18:04 of the third to complete the comeback.
Shots were 46-30 in favour of the Blazers with Zemlak getting the win while Jon Groenheyde takes the loss. The Blazers were 1-for-3 on the PP while going 3-for-3 on the PK.
