Richmond Raiders News Release

It took the Richmond Raiders offense two plays to show off their new offensive weapons. The defense took a little longer; but after two series both had established their dominance in a 52-7 win over the visiting Harrisburg Stampede.

Bryan Randall threw a 30 yard touchdown pass to Redd Thompson on the game's second play; one of three on the night for Thompson. The Raider defense then yielded its only touchdown on the evening in the Stampede's opening drive. The Raiders responded with a 17 yard Randall pass to Rodney Landers to make the score 13-7.
