
Raiders add to ownership group

The Richmond Raiders professional indoor football team is pleased to announce that Michael (Mike) D. Fraizer and his wife Elizabeth have joined its ownership group as local partners through a personal investment in the team. The Fraizers are active in the Richmond community and see this venture as an opportunity to contribute to the vibrancy of downtown Richmond, help bring economical family entertainment to the metro area, and add to the community's volunteer efforts through the involvement of the players.
Mike is the Chairman and CEO of Genworth Financial and serves on various charitable and community boards and advisory groups including the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation, the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges, the P-20 Bridging Richmond educational initiative, and the Richmond Performing Arts CenterStage. Mike and Elizabeth have a history of civic and charitable involvement in the Richmond Virginia area. They founded the Mary & Frances Youth Center on the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) campus in partnership with the University and support youth development and sports programs in Richmond including a new tennis program being launched with the Richmond Public Schools.
John Morris owner of the American Indoor Football Association and Co-Owner of the Richmond Raiders continues to lead team operations for the Raiders along with Executive Director Jack Bowman. Morris commented, "I am excited about this partnership and the additional support it will bring to the team. We are off to a great start in Richmond and this move will only accelerate our momentum."
