
Raging Tide Sign All-American Tucker White

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide has announced the signing of University of Southern Maine outfielder/designated hitter Tucker White (Deerfield, N.H.) for the 2012 season. White was recently named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/ Rawlings DIII second team, D3Baseball.com All-American second team, and first team All Little East Conference.
White batted .392 (73 for 186) with 48 runs scored, 10 doubles, a school single-season record 10 triples, seven home runs and a team-leading 49 RBI. White also had a .451 on-base percentage and a .667 slugging percentage, and stole 14 bases in 17 attempts. He also set the USM career record for triples with 18.
Tucker White and the rest of the Raging Tide will begin their season June 7th against North Shore Navigators at The Ballpark. First pitch scheduled for 6pm.
