
Raging Tide Final Homestand of Season this Week

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide will have their final home stand of the 2012 season this week at The Ballpark. Tuesday at 6pm the Tide will take on the Martha's Vineyard Sharks, and Wednesday will square up against the Seacoast Mavericks for a noon time matinee.
The Tide, who are officially eliminated from playoff contention, have seen a dramatic improvement from the 2011 squad that had nine wins. In the first year of competition in the FCBL (Futures Collegiate Baseball League) the Raging Tide currently have a 20-29 record, with four more games remaining.
Tuesday night will be the last remaining dollar hot dog night, as well as Fan Appreciation Night, which will include giveaway prizes at the door and throughout the game. The final home game of the season for the Tide on Wednesday will be a noon time matinee. Fans will receive a Raging Tide pennant upon entrance to The Ballpark, and will also have the chance to get it signed by the players immediately following the game at the player meet & greet.
