The RiverCity Rage defeated The Dayton Bulldogs tonight at Savvis Center in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. This win tonight clinches a 2006 playoff birth for the Rage, who are now (8-1) on the season. The Bulldogs drop to (2-6).
1st QUARTER:
The Rage picked up 6 points when Anthony Fisher connected with Corey Bethany. They then 2 points when Sha-Ron Edwards ran in the conversion. Dayton had no score the first quarter.
2nd QUARTER:
Dayton started off the quarter with a 26 yard field goal. Anthony Edwards then connected with Mike Lawrence for touchdown, while Edwards ran in the next 3 touchdowns. Fisher closed out with a pass to Moses Regular for a TD.
3rd QUARTER:
The Rage went on a 16 point unanswered 3rd quarter with Joe Bevis and Edwards got into the endzone. Jarrit Green added some points on defense with a saftey.
4th QUARTER:
Kasey Young ran in 3 yards to start the scoring in the 4th. Dayton answered back when Lance Wilson hit Maurice Douse. With 2:45 left in the game, Corey Bethany picked up a 15 yard TD off a pass from Fisher.
FINAL SCORE: BULLDOGS 9 , RAGE 74
RAGE KEY PLAYER OFFENSE VOTED BY MEDIA: Sha-Ron Edwards Rushing: 13 for 98 yards and 4 TD's.
RAGE KEY PLAYER DEFENSE VOTED BY MEDIA: Joe Bevis 10 tackles of which 2.5 accounted for 13 lost yards.
