Rage Renew Broadcast Agreement With News 20

St. Charles, MO - The RiverCity Rage have announced that they have renewed their broadcast agreement with News 20. This season will mark the fourth year that News 20 has been the television broadcast partner of the Rage. The station will, once again, be broadcasting every Rage home game three times a week. The schedule for viewing is Monday at 7:00 pm, Wednesday at 11:00 pm, and Saturday at 1:00 pm.
In addition to watching the games on television, fans can now watch the games from anywhere, online, at www.news20tv.com. The schedule for online viewing is the same as the above television timetable.
"We are thrilled to have News 20 broadcasting our games on television again this season," said Matt Jones, Rage General Manager. "(Station Manager) Randy Gardner has always done a great job for us. We are lucky to have Randy as a member of our team once again this season."
News 20 is a syndicated cable news operation that covers the St. Louis area. The station is shown in every home in the St. Louis Metro area with Charter Cable including St. Charles County (channel 18) and Jefferson County. The station is anchored by its News 20 Newscast along with PrimeTime Sports, Priority One, HealthQuest, and City Limits. The station also does play by play coverage of several local sporting teams.
"After all of these years of covering Rage football, this seems to be the most committed and excited I've seen this team," said Gardner. "Everyone in the front office, coaches, players and ownership group seems to have just one singular goal - a UIF championship."
The Rage will take the field for the first time in '08 with a preseason game against the Missouri Wildcats on Sunday, March 2nd at 3:00. As all Rage home games, the contest will be at the Family Arena in St. Charles. The Rage open their regular season Sunday, March 9th as they host the Colorado Ice at 3:00.
The RiverCity Rage Professional Indoor Football team is a member of the United Indoor Football League. All Rage home games are played at The Family Arena in St. Charles, MO.
