RiverCity Rage News Release
St. Louis - September 27, 2006 - The River City Rage has announced a change in venue for the franchise's 2007 season.
As announced earlier this week, the Rage will be joining the United Indoor Football League (UIF), starting in March 2007. Along with the jump to the UIF, the Rage will move from downtown Saint Louis to the Family Arena in Saint Charles, Missouri.
"Changing to Family Arena was a hard decision, but something that we felt had to be done," said RiverCity Rage Team President Tye Elliott. "We have great fans and know that their support and confidence in this franchise will continue."
The Family Arena is also looking forward to the Rage returning, "We are pleased to have the Rage back at Family Arena," said Family Arena Director Nick Nichols. "Last time the franchise was here, they were a great draw for the arena and provided a superior atmosphere. We know that it will be the same in 2007 and encourage everyone to come out and join in the experience."
