Racing Louisville FC News Release
Racing Louisville completed its staff for the 2024 season with the hiring of Charlie Tuley as video analyst.
In his role with Racing, Tuley is responsible for managing, tagging and processing video to support overall on-field performance. Tuley, who has bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Michigan, recently moved to Louisville to begin his work.
Racing has now finalized its support and technical staffing for the 2024 season under Bev Yanez, who is in her first year as Louisville's head coach. This offseason, Racing retained its entire support staff and added two new assistant coaches - Carmelina Moscato and Mitch Sowerby - as well as player operations coordinator Sydney Niederhaus. The club's new partnership with UofL Health also includes the addition of a part-time physical therapist and registered dietician.
"I am so excited to work with this group and continue to create the best environment possible at this club," Yanez said. "We have incredibly knowledgeable and good people in roles I know will help us be successful."
"I'm proud of the staff we've built," said Ryan Dell, who became the club's first general manager in March 2023. "We have a great mix of exceptional people who embody what we want Racing to be - ambitious, hardworking and high character. We will do everything we can to put our players in the best position to succeed on and off the field."
Before joining Racing, Tuley worked 14 months as a data and recruitment analyst for the MLS club San Jose Earthquakes and spent time as a data manager for Verified Athletics, a collegiate recruiting database.
Niederhaus joined Racing this offseason from Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers, where she worked in player and family services. The Texas State University graduate works directly with players in a variety of ways, from coordinating onboarding for new players and families and assisting international players with documentation to overseeing and tracking player appearances.
Racing previously announced the additions of Moscato and Sowerby to a staff that otherwise returned last season's support and medical staffs.
Goalkeeper coach Sergio Gonzalez is now in his fourth year with the team. Performance coach Julie Twaddle returned for her third season, as did director of operations Caitlyn Milby and equipment manager Sarah Kanuch.
The medical team, head athletic trainer Tara Condon and assistant athletic trainer Isabelle Clarke, is also back, with Condon in her third season and Clarke in her second.
