
Quincy Gems Set 2013 Schedule

Quincy Gems News Release
Quincy Gems will again play a 60 game schedule during the summer 2013 in the Prospect League. Quincy will be playing three split double headers with Hannibal this season where one game will take place at 1:05pm in one town, and 7:05pm in the other town on the same day. The split town double header games will be 9 innings each. Quincy will also play two home double headers against Terre Haute during the season. Those games will be 7 inning games starting at 5:35pm at home, with 30 minute field prep between games. Schedule attached.
The Prospect league board of directors decided to keep travel cost down this year and continue another year of playing only inside the divisions during the regular season.
Coach Chris Martin, the winningest coach of the Prospect League will return to lead the Quincy Gems again this year. Roster for the 2013 season is coming together with 19 of the possible 30 rosters spots under contract with colligate players from around the country. Roster attached as of today.
It's going to be another great summer of great baseball in Quincy with the Quincy Gems and the Prospect League!
