Quincy Gems News Release
Quincy Gems game for tonight 6/2 scheduled for 6:30pm has been canceled to extremely wet field conditions. Filed crews have been pumping 9,000 to 10,000 gallons of water off the field since early this morning. 2.5" of rain was recorded at the stadium over night. The canceled game will be made up in a double header on 6/28 our next scheduled home game with Springfield.
Field is expect to be in good playable shape by Friday evening's 6:30 game against DeKalb County Liners. The Gems are also home on Saturday night for a 6:30pm game against the Terre Haute Rex.
