Queen City reigns over Royal

Manchester, NH - December 9, 2007 - The #1 ranked team in the ABA, the Manchester Millrats, reigned supreme over the visiting Montreal Royal 126-106. The Queen City's own pro basketball team won its 9th straight victory improving their record to 11-1.
The Millrats rebounded from a 7-0 Montreal start to race to a 60-45 halftime lead. The second half saw the Millrats maintain a significant double digit lead throughout.
Point guard Ismael Caro scored 30 points and dished 7 assists. John Huggins contributed 23 off the bench. And Anthony Anderson added 15 points and 7 assists. Tommy Mitchell led Montreal with 33 points. The Manchester Millrats hit the road this Friday to make their first visit to the Pierre Charboneau Centre in Montreal and take on the Royal. On Sunday they visit Burlington, VT to face the defending ABA Champion Vermont Frost Heaves for the third time this season.
The next home game for Manchester is Friday December 21st at 7:05 pm as the Millrats play the Quebec Kebs, the only team to beat them this season. All Manchester Millrats games are 'events'.
