Millrats Melt Blizzard

Manchester, NH - December 8, 2007 - The #1 ranked team in the ABA, the Manchester Millrats rolled past the visiting Boston Blizzard 135-119 in Saturday night action.

The Millrats were never challenged in the game and the lead swelled to as many as 30 points. The fans were treated to an array of slam dunks, alley oops, and basketball artisty.

2007 ABA All Star forward Rob Sanders led a parade of four Millrats with over 20+ points. Sanders notched 30 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 2 blocks including a half dozen monster slams. Izzy Caro scored 22 points, handed out 10 assists and made 7 steals in the game. Anthony Anderson scored 23 points with 10 assists. And John Huggins scored 25 off the bench. 6'11 center Souleymane Wane added 14 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the effort.

"This was a fun game for the fans almost like an all star game tempo," stated Millrats GM Ian McCarthy, "it was great to see Sanders and Caro bounce back from an off night in Vermont."

Manchester, the #1 ranked team in the ABA, improves to 10-1 on the season, while Boston falls to 4-5.

The Manchester Millrats also host a game this Sunday at the Fieldhouse on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), as the former SNHU star guard Bobby Miller and the Montreal Royal will make their second visit to Manchester at 4:35 pm.
