
Quarterfinal series victor faces top-seeded Ignition in semifinals

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - The winner of the Chicago Storm's and La Raza de Monterrey's quarterfinal series has to face top-seeded Detroit in the semifinals of the Major Indoor Soccer League Championship Series. With third-seeded Baltimore defeating No. 6 New Jersey, 6-4, on Saturday, the Blast advanced to face No. 2 Milwaukee in the semifinals.
With the top seed, Detroit has the privilege of facing the lowest-seeded quarterfinal winner. That will be either fourth-seeded Monterrey or fifth-seeded Chicago. The Storm-La Raza quarterfinal series wraps up Sunday, April 13, when Game 2 takes place at 6:05 p.m. (CST) at Arena de Monterrey, In Mexico. The Storm took the opener of the series with a 10-8, overtime win Thursday, April 10, at the Sears Centre Arena.
If the Storm advance to the semifinals, they host Game 1 against Detroit at noon Saturday, April 19, at the Sears Centre. Visit ChicagoStorm.net for further details as the quarterfinals wrap up this weekend.
