JAKE WEINSTOCK: What was your ultimate Sportscenter highlight?
LJ CASTILE: "Catching the game winning touchdown pass in the back of the end zone with 19 seconds left against West Alabama when I was at Delta State."
JW: What was your first impression of Coach O'Hara?
LJC: "He's a player's coach; he really knows his stuff."
JW: Do you have any pregame rituals on game day?
LJC: "I have to pray, I have to pray; I'm very religious."
JW: What do you feel are 3 characteristics a good teammate should have?
LJC: "Trust, accountability, and a willingness to fight towards the same goal as the rest of the team."
JW: What is the funniest thing that ever happened during a game?
LJC: "When I was playing a game at (the University of) Houston against Tulane, the sprinkler system accidentally came on and sprayed Tulane's sideline."
JW: If the Voodoo win the Arena Bowl, the first thing you will do is..?
LJC: "I'll take off Bones' skull and wear it."
JW: What is your diet like?
LJC: "I can eat anything and everything; I've been blessed with a good metabolism."
JW: Which song would you sing on an audition for American Idol?
LJC: "All My Ex's Live in Texas' (laughs heavily)."
JW: Which superhero would you most like to be and why?
LJC: "Hancock, most definitely. He's the best one, hands down."
JW: Which celebrity would you most like to meet and why?
LJC: "Denzel Washington. He seems like such a cool, laid kind of back guy."
JW: Which actor would you like to see you play you in a movie?
LJC: "Wacka Flacka, without question. He's my man."
JW: What is your favorite movie trilogy and why?
LJC: "Bad Boys, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence together? Can't beat that."
JW: Do you have a nickname?
LJC: "L.J. 'Dirty Mattress' Castile.don't sleep on me."
JW: What is your most valued possession?
LJC: "My Bible, like I said, I'm very religious."
JW: What is your best non-athletic talent?
LJC: "My power of persuasion; it's almost like a superpower."
JW: What's the one thing that you love about New Orleans and why?
LJC: "The people, definitely the people. It's a very loving, caring city."
JW: Where is your favorite place to eat in New Orleans?
LJC: Mothers, downtown on Poydras. I absolutely love it.
JW: Do you have a favorite quote or saying?
LJC: "Hard work will defeat talent when talent refuses to work hard."
JW: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
LJC: "I'd take my girlfriend to Jamaica for a romantic vacation."
JW: Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
LJC: "Successful."
