Prowlers Sign Former D1 Standout Kevin Goumas for Silver Sticks Main Event
January 22, 2022 - Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL)
Port Huron Prowlers News Release
The Port Huron Prowlers have signed former D1 star Kevin Goumas for the Silver Sticks Main Event. Kevin is currently the head coach of the Long Island Gulls Silver Stick team. Kevin played four years at the University of New Hampshire and was a point per game player for his career. Kyle has also played in over 100 games in the AHL and will provide an offensive jolt to the Prowlers lineup.
The Prowlers will look to continue their strong play from last weekend when they were able to take 2 out of 3 games against the 2nd place Columbus River Dragons.
This weekend, players to watch are newly acquired defensemen Yegor Nosov who had 18 points in 25 games played with the Black Bears. Another player to watch is Richard Shipman, who had two 35 plus save performances last weekend.
If the Prowlers can win both games this weekend, it will help them in their task of moving up in the standings. Both games should be exhilarating, and if you are in the area, we encourage you to come with both games having an 8 pm Puck drop.
