Amarillo, TX - The Amarillo Bulls announced the addition of Landon Proctor to the Hockey Operations staff as the team's head equipment manager on Tuesday afternoon.

Proctor joins the Bulls organization after spending time in Norman, Oklahoma as the equipment manager for the University of Oklahoma Sooners Ice Hockey program and the Oklahoma City Blazers of the Western States Hockey League.

"We are very excited to have Landon join us as our head equipment manager for the Amarillo Bulls," said Head Coach Rocky Russo. "He brings a wealth of experience in working with multiple high-level teams and with ice rink management. He is not only capable of handling all of our equipment duties, but he is going to be an asset to our organization in a number of different ways. We are excited for Landon and his wife, Angela, to join our organization and become active members of the Amarillo community."

"The Amarillo Bulls are thrilled to welcome Landon and his wife into the Amarillo community and into the Bulls family," stated Lois Offerman, Senior Director of Business Operations. "He is going to help our organization move forward and achieve our goals."

Beyond his experience with hockey programs, Proctor gained valuable rink management skills while overseeing the ice resurfacing and equipment needs as the supervisor at the Blazer Ice Centre in Oklahoma City.

"I'm incredibly excited to be here in Amarillo and to be a part of the Amarillo Bulls organization," said Proctor. "I'm ready to get started and learn how things work in this organization, and I am ready to help out the team in any way possible."

Proctor will join the team on the road, this weekend, for his first, gameday action in his new role.

The Bulls will take to the road on Friday, January 24, to take on the Odessa Jackalopes. Mark Shelley will broadcast the game from the Spicy Mike's Bar-B-Q Broadcast Booth, and the action will begin at 7:15PM CST on 107.1 Nash Icon and Hockey TV.
