ARRIVAL: The 2010 Princeton Rays will be flown by plane on a direct flight from St. Petersburg, FL to Tri-State Airport in Huntiungton, Wv, where they are scheduled to land at 5:40pm on Friday, June 18. They will be met there by a bus that will bring them to Hunnicutt Field first. Estimated arrival time at Hunnicutt will be betrween 8:30pm-9:00pm. The general public is welcome to attend for the arrival of the bus

HEADSHOT INDIVIDUAL PLAYER PICTURES FOR MEDIA: Unlike many previous years, you will not need to have a photographer for this function. We will take these on the evening of June 19 and distribute these to you as quickly as possible.

PRESEASON PRACTICE SCHEDULE: The P-Rays are scheduled to take the field at 6:00pm on Saturday, June 19; at 5:00pm on Sunday, June 20; and 6:00pm on Monday, June 21. All practices are open to the public and the souvenir stand will be open from 6:30pm-7:30pm each evening.

"MEET THE 2010 PRINCETON RAYS" AND OTHER FEATURE OPPORTUNITIES: We encourage you to publicize our annual "Meet the Princeton Rays" event which this year will be from 5:15pm to 6:00pm on Monday, June 21. During this time the public is invited to come onto the field and meet the team members. This is also a great opportunity for lengthier interviews of individuals by the working media. Another great feature story opportunity will be on Sunday at 3:00pm when we conduct our third annual "Princeton Rays Kids Club Picnic" when the exclusive members of the club, local boys and girls ages12 & under have a complete picnic with our players. This will be in the picnic area under the main grandstand at Hunnicutt Field.

OPENING NIGHT: The Princeton Rays will open the 2010 Appalachian League season (our 23rd Appalachian League season and 14th season as a Tampa Bay Rays affiliate) at home versus the defending champion Danville Braves. Game time is at 7:00pm with gates opening at 6:00pm. Admission will be absolutely free (no ticket required), courtesy of First Community Bank. The first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a free 5.5" x 8.5" 2010 Princeton Rays' full-process color magnet schedule, also courtesy of First Community Bank.

RADIO BROADCAST REMINDER: "The Princeton Rays Radio Network" partnership will be entering it's third consecutive season in 2010 and consists of all P-Rays' games (both home and away) being broadcast via 102.3FM "The Ticket" (ESPN format) of Beckley, WV and they will be joined for road broadcasts only by WAEY 1490-AM of Prinecton, WV. The broadcasts can also be accessed via our website at www.princetonrays.net. Kyle Cooper will be the play-by-play announcer for the third consecutive season.
