Pride to Host Former Patriots Great Russ Francis and Elvis Night

(Nashua, NH) Friday night, August 5, the Nashua Pride will welcome former New England Patriots tight end Russ Francis to Historic Holman Stadium. Francis, called "All World" by legendary broadcaster Howard Cosell, was drafted by the Kansas City Royals baseball team prior to being selected as a first round pick of the Patriots and head coach Chuck Fairbanks in 1975. Francis was a three-time pro bowler and a Super Bowl champion with the San Francisco 49ers in his 13-year NFL career. Russ will be signing pre-game autographs on Friday night prior to the 7:05 game between the Pride and the Newark Bears. Fireworks will follow Friday's "Budweiser Night" game in Nashua. Game time is 7:05

On Tuesday night, August 16, its time to bring out those blue suede shoes as the Pride will celebrate the life of Elvis Presley with a "Tribute to the King". Fans who attend the game on the 16th impersonating the "King of Rock and Roll" will be admitted free. The Pride are promising a night of Elvis music, trivia, contests, and prizes. The Pride-Long Island Ducks game will start at 6:35
