Pride game rained out today, Sunday August 27th

(Nashua, NH, Aug. 27) Nashua Pride officials announced today that the game scheduled for Sunday, August 27th at 2:05 p.m. has been postponed until tomorrow, Aug. 28, as the club will play a double header versus the New Haven County Cutters starting at 4:05 p.m.

Fans holding tickets for today's game can use their tickets for tomorrow's double header. In order to exchange for new tickets, fans must bring their old tickets from today's game to the ticket office located at Historic Holman Stadium.

The double header scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, Aug. 28th, will start at 4:05 p.m. Each game will be played for seven innings with the second game commencing 30 minutes after the end of the first game. In between the two games, the club will honor Glenn Murray with his number retirement ceremony.

Tomorrow's game is the team's regular season finale and the World Famous Monkey Boy will be performing during parts of both games. Monkey Boy is considered one of the premier minor league entertainment acts in North America, and the popularity of Monkey Boy is continually growing as he brings a comical and energetic performance which creates lasting memories for his fans. Following the game tomorrow night, there will be a fireworks extravaganza planned and fans are encouraged to come out to show their support for the team as it continues to make its final playoff push.

The Pride will send lefty Jarrad Lavergne (2-4, 4.73) to pitch the first game at 4:05 p.m. versus New Haven's lefthander Rolando Valles (7-5, 2.93). In game two, Nashua's righthander Jason Paul (2-1, 3.44) will pitch against righty Courtney Hall (3-4, 4.03) of the Cutters.

The Nashua Pride, entering its first year of play in the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, plays its home games at Historic Holman Stadium.
