North Shore starting pitcher Matt Bishop had a remarkable pitching performance to lead the Spirit past the Tornadoes and collect their eighth straight victory. Bishop went eight innings allowing only two hits, singles by LF Josh Beauregard and DH Jabe Bergeron, with two walks and seven strikeouts. The right hander improved his record to 5-1 on the season. Kevin Fitzgerald pitched a perfect ninth inning and tallied his 22nd save of the season, which is still tops in the league. The Spirit was led offensively by 3B Antoin Gray who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI and RF Luis Sabino who had a 1-for-4 outing with a triple and a run scored.
