Orlando Predators News Release

ORLANDO, Fla. (February 9, 2006) -- Several members of the Orlando Predators made Wednesday afternoon a day to remember for some special residents of Altamonte Springs.

Defensive Specialists Kenny McEntyre and Jeroid Johnson, along with OL/DL Greg White, visited the Winter Camp for Special Populations at the Altamonte Springs Recreation Center.

The Camp focuses on physical, mental and social development and recreational programs for physically and mentally challenged residents. The players spent the afternoon teaching football skills, talking about Arena Football, and participating in a meet and greet session. The afternoon concluded with an impromptu touch football game.

"We would like to thank the Orlando Predators team, especially the players who participated," said Vinnie Coon, special community services supervisor for the City of Altamonte Springs. "The players added a lot of joy to the lives of our campers and they will remember being able to play football with the pros for a long time."

Following the event, the Orlando Predators Foundation donated tickets so the campers could enjoy the Predators game against the Dallas Desperados on March 3.
