Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has signed forward Austin Watson to a two-year contract. It is a two-way contract in 2015-16 and a one-way contract in 2016-17.
Watson led Milwaukee and tied for 14th in the American Hockey League in goals (26) in 2014-15, in addition to tying for second among all AHL skaters in game-winning goals (8) while appearing in all 76 regular-season games for the second consecutive season. He's the first Admiral since the team joined the AHL in 2001 to score top the 20-goal plateau in his first three seasons and he has ranked among the top three Admirals in points in each of those seasons.
The 6-3, 206-pound native of Ann Arbor, Mich., has appeared in six NHL contests with Nashville, all during the 2012-13 campaign, scoring one goal.
The Admirals will open their 2015-16 home schedule on Friday, October 16th at 7 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Plus, classic rock legend Foreigner will perform in a post-game concert on October 24th.
Season tickets for the 2015-16 season are now on sale for as little $185 and can be purchased by calling the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550 or online at milwaukeeadmirals.com
