
Predators Release Home Schedule

Northern Michigan Predators News Release
The Northern Michigan Predators have released their regular season home schedule and it will include mostly Friday nights and Saturday nights.
The Predators will play their home games at Polar Bear Ice & Fitness in Michigan's beautiful winter resort town of Harbor Springs. They earlier announced a 5-game home stand to kick off play in the new International Independent Hockey League's Pre-Season Fall Showcase Tournament from Nov. 26-30.
The IIHL regular season will begin on the road for the Predators on Friday, Dec. 5. They then play at home on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. and again on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m.
The Predators have two more Sunday matinee games scheduled for 1:30 p.m. starts on Jan. 25 and March 28. They also have a "Kids Day" matinee scheduled for Friday, Jan. 2 at 1:30 p.m. "Kids Day" tickets are priced at $1 for children age 14 and under in a display of Christmas spirit by the Predators in helping children deliver inexpensive gifts for brothers, sisters and friends.
The Predators will also have home dates on two other holidays, hosting 7:30 p.m. contests on both New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. They will also host every IIHL team in a showcase under one roof at Polar Bear Ice & Fitness on Monday, Dec. 29. The Predators play the 7:30 p.m. game in the Dec. 29 Holiday Showcase event designed to give players exposure to scouts from AA minor pro teams, Eurpoean pro teams, AAA clubs and NHL organizations.
The New Year's Eve game is among three Wednesday nights on the schedule. The others are on Jan. 21 and Jan. 28. A Tuesday contest is set for Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
Opening night and Valentine Day are among 13 Saturday nights on the regular season slate. The others are Dec. 13, Dec. 20, Dec. 27, Jan. 3, Jan. 17, Jan. 24, Jan. 31, Feb. 7, Feb. 28, March 20 and March 27. All of them start at 7:30 p.m.
Friday night games with 7:30 p.m. starting times will be on Dec. 12, Jan.. 16, Jan. 23, Jan. 30, Feb. 6, Feb. 27 and March 19.
