NEW ORLEANS--Orlando QB Joe Hamilton threw for six touchdowns, three to WR/LB Cory Fleming as the Predators beat the New Orleans VooDoo, 63-52 in the New Orleans Arena.
The loss halted a club-record five-game win streak for the VooDoo (5-2). Orlando (5-2) now owns the only two opponent victories in the New Orleans Arena over the VooDoo in the club's two seasons of play.
Hamilton, who was selected as the Offensive Player of the Game, completed 11-of-20 passes for 169 yards and six scores. Fleming caught six passes for 83 yards and three TDs on offense and added one tackle on defense as the U.S. Ironman of the Game. Predators DS Kenny McEntyre, who had a pair of interceptions of New Orleans QB Andy Kelly and six tackles
Kelly was 33-of-53 passing for 279 yards, five TDs and two interceptions for the VooDoo. VooDoo OS Aaron Bailey had 11 receptions for 86 yards with two TDs and a 54-yard kickoff return for a TD to lead New Orleans while WR/DB Jacques Rumph added eight catches for 67 yards for the VooDoo.
