NASHVILLE, Tenn. - QB John Dutton threw six touchdown passes, two to OS Damian Harrell, as the Colorado Crush defeated the Nashville Kats 42-35. The Crush (4-2) remain on top of the AFL Central Division while Nashville drops to 1-6 on the season, extending the longest losing streak in club history. Dutton completed 23-of-34 passes for 232 yards. Harrell caught four passes for 46 yards. He now has 18 touchdown receptions in six games. The Kats offense started to lift off the ground early but stumbled late in the game. OS Travis McGriff, the 2003 AFL Rookie of the Year, caught seven passes for 73 yards. QB Tony Zimmerman completed 22-of-34 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns. FB/LB Levelle Brown rushed for two touchdowns for the Kats. Zimmerman also rushed for a score. Flags were common in the game as the teams combined for 24 penalties for 147 yards. Nashville had two scores called back on penalties. Dutton threw an 8-yard touchdown pass - his 34th of the season - to FB/LB Rich Young with less than a minute to play. Nashville responded with a touchdown but an onside kick failed, preserving the Crush victory.
