Pre-Registration Set for Raiderettes' Auditions

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (November 3, 2003) – The Cedar Rapids River Raiders will conduct auditions for the Raiderettes' Dance and Cheer Team on Saturday, November 8 at Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids, IA. The auditions will be on the main floor, right off center Court of the mall across from Lens Crafters from Noon-3 p.m. and will be under the direction of Raiderettes' Choreographer Melynda Wolter, former dancer for the "Luvabulls" (NBA's Chicago Bulls).

Registration forms can be picked up at the River Raiders' office at 999 44th Street, Suite 1000 in Marion, IA or on the team website www.crriverraiders.com. There is a pre-registration fee of $10 and if you wait to register the day of the auditions, the cost is $15. You must be18 years or older and be a high school graduate.

The River Raiders will start its inaugural 30 game regular season (15 home games) in April of 2004 at the U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Cedar Rapids.
