Bloomington PrairieThunder News Release
At PrairieThunder games at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum, hockey fans have the opportunity to throw orange sponge rubber "Chuck-a-Pucks" onto the ice. At Monday's Labor Day Parade in downtown Bloomington, the tables will be turned as members of the PrairieThunder organization will be handing lucky pucks to the crowd along with candy and other giveaway items.
The annual holiday parade gets underway at 10am on Monday and those in the crowd who catch the "Chuck-a-Pucks" should hold onto them and bring them to the PrairieThunder's home opener on Friday, October 22nd when the Thunder hosts the Odessa Jackalopes at 7pm. Fans who present their "Chuck-a-Pucks" to the PrairieThunder's Information Table at the game may win great prizes from the team and participating sponsors.
Season tickets and group ticket packages for the 2010-2011 Bloomington Prairie Thunder are now on sale at the team's offices located at 318 W. Washington Street, Suite 1NW, in downtown Bloomington. For more information, please call the Prairie Thunder at 309-585-0507.
