
PrairieThunder single game tickets available September 24

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington PrairieThunder officials announced Wednesday that single game tickets for 2009-10 will go on sale Thursday, September 24, at 10 a.m. at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office, online at www.Ticketmaster.com. Or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets for all 38 PrairieThunder regular season games will go on sale.
Ticket prices for the 2009-10 season have been reduced by $2 dollars from last season, ranging from $10 to $21 for adults. Senior citizen tickets (60 and above) and student tickets with an ID are $10. Youth tickets (ages 3 to 12) are $8.
Season tickets, at a savings over walk-up prices, are still on sale at the PrairieThunder office by calling 309-585-0507, extension 304.
Training camp gets underway Oct. 5 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum Pepsi Ice Center with practices twice each day thru Oct. 9. The practices are open to the public. Practice times are 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Afternoon practices will include scrimmages.
The PrairieThunder will play two exhibition games against Quad City. The first is Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Decatur Civic Center. Tickets are on sale for $10 (which includes a voucher for a free youth ticket) by calling 309-585-0507, ext. 304. The second game is Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. in Davenport, Iowa.
Bloomington opens the regular season Oct. 17 at Muskegon.
