
PrairieThunder set for two in row at home

The Bloomington PrairieThunder hopes two home games in a row this week at U.S. Cellular Coliseum gets it back on the winning track after suffering a couple of losses in its last two outings.
The PrairieThunder, which has an 8-10-1 record and 17 points in the Inrernational Hockey League, looks to move into a tie with Kalamazoo with a victory Wednesday in a 7:05 p.m. contest. The Wings are ahead of the PrairieThunder by two points in the standings.
Bloomington has won two straight over the Wings (8-8-0-3, 19 points) and holds a 2-1 lead in the season series.
Following the Wings into town will be the Flint Generals (10-4-0-0, 24 points) on Friday at 7:05 p.m. The Generals have a 4-1 lead in the season series and have won four straight over the PrairieThunder with three of the victories in Flint.
The PrairieThunder concludes the week's schedule with road games at Port Huron on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and at Fort Wayne on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Wednesday is Military Night at U.S. Cellular Coliseum sponsored by the U.S. Army ROTC. Two dollars from each ticket sold will be donated to the Illinois Families of Lost Soldiers fund.
It's also Wild Wednesday, College Student Discount Night and the first Wine, Women and Hockey Night sponsored by Fox & Hounds Day Spa. College students with a valid school ID can purchase tickets for half price. Wild Wednesday allows fans the opportunity to buy 10-ounce draught beers, sodas, hot dogs and popcorn for $1.
Wine, Women and Hockey includes a ticket in the U.S. Cellular Coliseum party suite, services provided by Fox & Hounds personal staff, appetizers and wine tasting for $35. The offer is good for $20 to club seat ticket-holders.
