International Hockey League officials announced Wednesday a change in the league schedule that affects the Bloomington PrairieThunder.
The PrairieThunder will play at Flint on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. rather than the previously scheduled date of Tuesday, March 17. The change was made due to a change in facility availability in Flint.
Bloomington general manager Jerry McBurney also announced the PrairieThunder will play a pair of exhibition games on the road prior to its Oct. 17 regular-season opener at U.S. Cellular Coliseum against Flint at 7:05 p.m.
The PrairieThunder will play exhibition games at Fort Wayne on Oct. 8 and at Muskegon on Oct. 11.
