WINNIPEG, MB â The 2004 Practice With The Pros event scheduled for May 15 at Canad Inns Stadium is now full. The 300 spots for youth aged 8-13 are gone.
Eight members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, four members of Green Bay Packers players and several Football Manitoba coaches will provide football instruction to 300 youngsters.
The flag football drills will focus on core skills such as passing, receiving and proper running techniques â skills that serve as fundamental building blocks for success in the game of football.
Green Bay players wide receiver Carl Ford, defensive tackle James Lee, centre/guard Grey Ruegamer and linebacker Marcus Wilkins will pass on skills to those in attendance.
The Blue Bombers players are offensive lineman Moe Elewonibi, wide receiver Markus Howell, quarterback Khari Jones, linebacker Lamar McGriggs, offensive lineman Dave Mudge, defensive tackle Jon Oosterhuis, offensive lineman Matt Sheridan and linebacker Ryland Wickman.
