
Renegades renovate seats

OTTAWA â The Ottawa Renegades are set to go into full renovation mode.
To address high demand, bench seats in portions of Sections C & G in the north-side grandstand of Frank Clair Stadium will be replaced by 500 "fold-down" chair seats. The existing "fold-down" seats at the stadium, located in Section E and in portions of sections D and F are sold out.
The Renegades are offering a special nine-game package price of $420 for the renovated seats.
"This project addresses the wishes of our fans," said Renegades president Brad Watters. "We've heard from many people wanting this type of seating, and we want to make sure we can accommodate as many as possible."
The Renegades, winners of five straight home games to end the 2003 regular season, begin the 2004 exhibition schedule on Thursday, June 3 against the Montreal Alouettes at Frank Clair Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
The 2004 regular-season home opener is Thursday, June 24 when the Renegades host the Toronto Argonauts at Frank Clair Stadium, beginning at 7:30.
