
Power Squeak Past Express in Season Opener

(LONDON, ON) Durham's Team, the Oshawa Power opened their 2012-2013 campaign tonight with an 84-83 win over the Windsor Express.
The Power came out strong in the first half, forcing the Express to run with the young squad. The Power went into the locker room with a 4-point lead at halftime and never looked back holding off a final surge from the Express.
Leading the way for Oshawa was Nick Okorie who scored 16 points. Jushay Rockett punched in a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
"We found ways to win," said Robert Brickey after the game, "we kept our composure but we have a long way to go."
The Power will go on the road to London on Thursday, November 8th to take on the Lightning and will open their home schedule against Windsor on Saturday, November 10th at 7pm at the General Motors Centre.
