
Power, Mayor Holzkamp Visit Glen Cove Middle School

Glen Cove, NY - The New York Power joined by Glen Cove's first female Mayor Mary Ann Holzkamp, in visiting Glen Cove Middle school today in an assembly held for BIONIC Week (Believe It Or Not I Care). BIONIC week, which is a week long activity helps students understand the value of self-worth, the value of respecting others and staying heath conscious and drug free.
New York Power players, Katie Tracy, Minna Mustonen and Jaclyn Raveia were on heand to help the Mayor instill the strong valued program in Glen Cove.
At the assembly, Power player Jaclyn Raveia added, "It is so important to get out in front of these kids and really show them that holding strong values really are a tremendous part of success in life," said Raveia.
"Its really a joy to be here at the middle school today with the Power," said Glen Cove Mayor Mary Anne Holzkamp. "I really value the program and am glad to be a part of it."
