Power Fall Short of Comeback, Fall 112-100

(Brampton, ON - ) The Mississauga Power traveled to Brampton tonight, looking to improve to 3-0 for the season against the A's. The Power gave up a big lead in the second and would not be able to complete a comeback attempt, losing 112-100. Omar Strong scored 27 points while Travis Releford chipped in with 18 points and 3 steals.

The Power started off on an 8-0 run to begin the game but Brampton quickly answered back and took control of the game, taking a two point lead after one quarter. Mississauga struggled on offense in the second quarter as they only managed 18 points while Brampton poured in 30 points, taking a 54-40 lead at halftime.

Coming out of half, the Power played great on both ends of the floor, starting the third on a 11-2 run and cutting the A's lead to just five points. The A's immediately responded and went on a large scoring run, holding a 80-64 lead entering the fourth quarter.Travis Releford and Omar Strong shouldered the offense load and would help the Power battle back to within four points in the fourth however, the A's held on with a small lead in the remaining three minutes and would escape with the 112-100 win.

The Power will return to the Hershey Centre on December 7th to take on the Windsor Express.
