
Lightning Release Bolden, Sign Broughton

(LONDON, Ontario) - The London Lightning have released Maurice Bolden and have signed swingman Robert Broughton.
Bolden left the franchise due to personal reasons and the Lightning wish him the very best in all his future endeavours.
A 6'5" Kentucky native, Robert Broughton averaged 19 points and seven rebounds per game last season in the PBL.
"Robert will be a great addition to our team. He is going to bring the toughness and energy that we need for our organization" said Head Coach Carlos Knox.
Broughton will make his Lightning debut tomorrow, Sunday, November 23 against the Windsor Express.
Tip-off is 2:00 p.m. and tickets are available through the Budweiser Gardens Box Office.
