
Power Continue Winning Ways Over Montreal With 127-102 Victory

OSHAWA, ON - Durham's team never trailed as the Power rolled to a convincing win over the Montreal Jazz 127-102 led by Mark Gomillia's 29 points.
After leading at the half 52-41, Oshawa exploded out of the break scoring 44 points in the third quarter, pushing the lead to 31 points.
Montreal was led by Eric Frederick's 41 points, but he and the rest of the team combined for just 8 assists total while Oshawa tallied 31 helpers in the game, sharing the ball and contributing to the team effort.
Bo Harris had 19 points and a game-high eight assists, Larry Diamond had 18 points including four three-pointers, seven rebounds, and seven assists, and the reigning Recharge With Milk Player of the Week, Nick Okorie finished with 15 points of his own.
Oshawa's bash brothers Jaushay Rockett and Shamus Ferguson finished with 14 and 12 rebounds respectively, leading the team which tallied 64 total.
Courtney Small and Chad Gillaspy both brought the crowd to their feet with dunks in the fourth quarter as the Power energized the home crowd.
Courtland Bluford added 21 points for the Jazz who now sit at 2-23 on the season, while Oshawa improves to 16-11 on the year, good for second in the league. The Power will now head on the road to Montreal to complete the home and home series on Friday January 25, 2013 with tip off set for 7:00 p.m.
