February 12, 2014 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Mississauga Power News Release
(Mississauga, ON - ) The Power have resigned 6'6 forward, Jaushay Rockett. Rockett played for the Power in the team's inaugural season in 2011 in Oshawa.
Rockett appeared in 29 games last season, leading the team in rebounding and was third in scoring at 15.9 points per game. He will provide the Power with a scoring punch and strong defense as the team prepares for the playoffs.
"I'm happy to be back. I've put some work in and we have some unfinished business from last year to take care of," stated Rockett. "I'm going to make the game easier for my teammates on both ends of the floor. I'm poised and I'll let my game do the rest of the talking."
Rockett will make his debut tonight as the Power head to Ottawa to play the SkyHawks. The Power have two more road games before returning to the Hershey Centre on February 20th to take on the Windsor Express.
