
Power Acquire Greg Plummer from Storm

(Mississauga, ON - ) The Mississauga Power have traded guard Nick Okorie to The Island Storm in exchange for 6'4 guard/forward Greg Plummer and a third round draft pick in the 2014-2015 NBL Canada draft . Plummer is averaging 14.1 points 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in 20 starts for the Storm this season. Plummer is the all-time scoring leader for the Storm and has played in the NBLC since the league's inaugural season.
"I sincerely would like to thank Nick for everything he has done for this organization, especially with his professionalism regarding our relocation from Oshawa and with his contributions towards making Power Basketball a formidable opponent within NBL Canada," explains John Wiggins, the Power's VP of Operations. He continues, "This was a very difficult decision for us to make, but we do believe that this will create opportunities for some of our other talents to take reign and showcase their ability to make a strong playoff push."
Plummer played for Eckerd College before joining the Halifax Rainmen in 2009 when the team was still a member of the Premier Basketball League.
