Postgame Fireworks Postponed for CT Tigers-Yankees Saturday

NORWICH, Ct. - Postgame fireworks following Saturday's doubleheader between the Connecticut Tigers and Staten Island Yankees at Dodd Stadium have been postponed. The fireworks show will be re-scheduled for Saturday, August 18.

Tonight's doubleheader games remain on schedule with first pitch at 5:05 p.m. We will continue monitoring weather as the day progresses and will post any schedule updates on CTTigers.com along with CT Tigers social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Both games are scheduled for seven innings on Saturday.

Any tickets for Saturday, August 11 will be honored as a rainout exchange for any remaining 2018 Tigers regular season game at Dodd Stadium, whether tonight's games are rained out or not. If gates open for tonight's game at 4 p.m., the first 1,000 fans will receive an Alan Trammell bobblehead. If gates do not open this evening, the Tigers will push the Trammell giveaway to Sunday's doubleheader with gates scheduled to open at 2 p.m.
