Veron started on the right wing in the spot vacated by Lloyd Sam, who was traded to D.C. on Thursday. * Luis Robles earned his sixth clean sheet of the season in his 125th consecutive MLS regular season start. Robles is now tied with Tony Meola for the franchise record for appearances and starts in goal. * New York is 32-42-21 all-time in the month of June.
