* The New York Red Bulls played to a 0-0 draw with the Portland Timbers on Sunday night at Red Bull Arena. New York is undefeated in its last six home contests, with five shutouts. * The Red Bulls are 7-9-3 on the season and sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with 24 points. * The match was the Red Bulls' first at home since June 19, a 2-0 win over Seattle. * New York is 5-0-1 this season when not allowing a goal. * The Red Bulls are 3-1-3 all-time against the Timbers, and 2-1-1 in matches played in Harrison. * The Red Bulls three ties this season are the fewest in MLS. New York has only tied nine MLS games since Jesse Marsch took over the team. * Damien Perrinelle saw his first MLS action since November 2015, when he suffered a knee injury. Perrinelle, who made two rehab starts with NYRB II and saw time in a friendly against Club America on Wednesday, entered Sunday's match as a sub for an injured Gideon Baah in the 22nd minute. * Gonzalo Veron got his fifth start of the season and first since June 22 in Real Salt Lake. Veron started on the right wing in the spot vacated by Lloyd Sam, who was traded to D.C. on Thursday. * Luis Robles earned his sixth clean sheet of the season in his 125th consecutive MLS regular season start. Robles is now tied with Tony Meola for the franchise record for appearances and starts in goal. * New York is 32-42-21 all-time in the month of June. New York has scored 128 goals in June, and allowed 152. * New York remains home to host Orlando City SC on Wednesday, July 13.
