For the 11th time in the team's 15 year history, the Pirates are in the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Pirates will face the Hartford Wolf Pack in the best of seven Atlantic Division Semifinals starting on Wednesday night in Hartford. The Pirates next home game is Game 3 of the 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs on Saturday April 19. Fans are encouraged to GET FIRED UP! and wear red to the playoffs!

Below is the Pirates playoff schedule: Game 1: Wed, April 16 @ Hartford 7:00 p.m. Game 2: Thur., April 17 @ Hartford 7:00 p.m. Game 3: Sat., April 19 @Portland 7:05 p.m. Game 4: Sun., April 20 @ Portland 6:05 p.m. Game 5*: Tues., April 22 @ Hartford 7:00 p.m. Game 6*: Thur., April 24 @ Portland 7:05 p.m. Game 7*: Sat., April 26 @ Hartford 7:00 p.m. *If Necessary

Fans can purchase all potential Pirates home playoff games, beginning with Game "A" on Saturday April 19 (Round 1, Game 3) to the last potential home playoff game, Game "P" (Round 4, Home Game 4). Tickets can be purchased in person or by phone (207 775-3458) at the Cumberland County Civic Center Box Office.

The Box Office is open from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturdays and closed on non-game Sundays. When the Pirates play weekend home games, the Box Office is open on Saturday from 9:30 AM through the second intermission of the game and on Sunday from 10:00 AM through the second intermission of the game.

LOOKING AHEAD...

USA vs. Sweden Tickets are on sale for the U.S. Men's National Team vs. Sweden on Sunday, April 27, at 7 p.m. (EDT) at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine. Individual tickets can be purchased in person at the Civic Center Box Office, by phone at 775-3458, or online at www.ticketmaster.com. For group tickets call (207) 828-4665 x350.

GREAT DEALS...

Right now, fans can bid to win an autographed game-used Mike McKenna #31 goalie glove. This glove was used by Mike during his 2006-07 ECHL season with the Las Vegas Wranglers, including their playoff run, and also at the beginning of the 2007-08 season for his debut with the Portland Pirates. All proceeds will go to benefit the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital.
