Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 News Release

VANCOUVER, BC - Port Coquitlam's Kadin Chung has been named to the USL Team of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old was instrumental in the WFC2 come-from-behind 3-2 win this past Wednesday evening, joining the attack to spark the 'Caps rally.

Chung stole the show in the 67th minute with a crowd-pleasing move to initiate the comeback. Starting from the right edge of the box, the right back turned on the spin cycle to leave a pair of Tulsa defenders in the dust, then set up striker Kyle Greig for a header to tie the match.

Also honoured by the league this week is 20-year-old Kianz Froese. The first team midfielder was a constant threat and scored the 2-2 equalizing goal with five minutes remaining.

The 'Caps would score a last-minute winner to remain unbeaten on the season.
